Calendars

Use Calendars to manage the calendar resources used by Calendar fields and scheduling flows.

Creating a calendar

  1. Choose New > Calendar and enter a Name (plus an optional Description).
  2. Select the required Timezone; availability and event times use it.
  3. Choose Privacy: PRIVATE shows “Busy” on embeds, while PUBLIC shows event content.
  4. Optionally enable overlapping events, fixed start/end hours, exact/minimum/maximum duration, past/future posting windows (seconds through years), and a fixed timetable schedule.
  5. Select OK. Missing timezone or invalid values are rejected.

From Open > My Calendars, select Edit to review settings. The calendar viewer supports Create events, day/week/month views, date navigation, and event editing. Calendar fields can select managed calendars; with none available they show a no-calendars state.

The empty calendar-management state; no resource was created or changed.

Safe configuration sequence

  1. Open Open > Calendars.
  2. Create or select only a dedicated test calendar when configuration must be exercised.
  3. Define availability and calendar data before attaching it to a Calendar field.
  4. Preview the form using permitted test dates and confirm the calendar shows the intended availability.

Do not alter an existing operational calendar while testing. The empty-state screenshot above shows what an account with no calendars looks like.
